D157
Dinky 157 Jaguar XK120 Coupe. Grey-green with FAWN (not cream) wheels. Very, very near mint/boxed (little wear). From a private collection of Dinky and Corgi models, mostly purchased during the early 1980's at U.K. auction houses
Notes
A desirable Dinky car with a sleek grey-green finish and fawn hubs. A prestigious Dinky car which still bears a lustrous sheen to the paint finish. Bright base and smooth-running original tyres.
Looks as if it has barely been out of the box and it does feel over-harsh to downgrade for a factory overspray at a front light detail and a little as-made casting mark on one side. Minuscule rub at a body line detail . Not even a trace of a roof rub!
Very nice indeed.
The card box is complete and bright with the correct colour spot on the end flaps. A little handling grubbiness and a small handling slit ton one of the little end flaps. Little crease. No graffiti.
