Second issue of this popular Corgi model – in bright red finish, white roof, racing number 177, cast detailed hubs.
This model displays superbly with six jewelled headlights/spotlights, two spare wheels in the chrome (no rubs!) roof rack, and beautifully detailed “Monte Carlo” transfers at front and rear.
Tiny dot or two to the vulnerable transfer on the bonnet centre line. Tiniest wear to the rear transfer too. Couple of negligible dots to the paint finish.
This Mini presents really well – in all original and unused condition, this model just gleams!
The correct, later issue box with cellophane window is complete if looking rather worn in places with some handling grubbiness, small strip of surface loss at an end flap and a little handling tear to the inner. Vivid artwork on the reverse. Original cellophane has a split.
