Re-numbered from 39B in 1960, this is an interesting and harder to find variation of the Unic Sahara Pipe-Laying Truck with a darker caramel shade tractor and trailer and unpierced trailer detail. Matching metal wheels and a white roof rack. Four metal pins on the trailer are still in place. Complete load of six plastic pipes. Two spare wheels, window glazing.
A few little marks away at some exposed edges. Lovely original sheen. A few subtle retouches are visible upon closest inspection.
The attractive pictorial striped ‘Supertoys’ box is clean and fresh-looking with bright colours. No splits or repairs. Period penned price at one lid end. No graffiti. Minor rubbing to the box base underside. Quality Control French Dinky Factory stamp on the inside of the lid.
