D156
Dinky 156 Rover 75 Saloon. Deep blue and cream. Large print baseplate. Near mint plus/boxed. Scarce. From a collection of rare Dinky models in the U.K.
Notes
A striking and beautiful two-tone Rover Saloon! With a wonderfully vibrant, intense deep blue and rich cream finish, this example was made between 1956-59.
In beautiful, all original condition.
Note that this example has the large print and no number 156 on the baseplate.
Couple of small marks on the roof and a little paint bubble . One tyre is rather mis-shapen now with a couple of flat spots.
The pictorial box is bright and clean, with the blue colour spot at the end flaps. Resistant end flaps show that this box has been opened rarely. Couple of storage creases. Period price at an end flap.
