A scarce item indeed – this version was made between 1962-63 only.
This Bedford End Tipper Truck has a fresh and vibrant red and cream finish, red plastic wheels and window glazing. Such a bright (correct, late) silver radiator and headlight assembly too!
A fine lustre shows that this example has had careful handling only.
Fine gloss baseplate and bright metal parts.
Hard to fault, it is only upon minute scrutiny that a few, subtle, extra dabs of well-matched cream paint may be seen.
The correct, later issue/export red and yellow box is very clean, bright and crisp.
Notably, there are no winding handle punctures but there are a couple of small end flap tears and a little area of surface loss on a corner of the top surface.
Scarce variant.
