Notes
There were lots of colour versions of this popular Dinky toy!
This version has a mid-tan cab, mid green back, red hubs, black lettering. An all original example – complete with a working tow hook. “DINKY SERVICE” lettering is complete on both sides.
Some marking at the tinplate jib section and a few discoloured spots at the rear of the tinplate jib section. Few little marks besides. Bright baseplate.
The yellow picture box is intact; the lid is brightly coloured. Some edge rubbing. Staining on the inside of the lid in one small section. Tiny storage puncture. Box base has heavier wear including surface loss/rubbing. Dinky stamp inside the box lid dates this particular example from 1957.
