D502
Dinky 502 Foden Flat Truck. Very, very near mint/boxed. 1st type. Scarce. From The European Collection.
Notes
This is a very fine example of this 1st type Foden in all original condition in the correct early box. Lovely sheen throughout.
With a gleaming deep green finish, black chassis, shining baseplate and metal parts, silver flash, 1st type cab, no hook, and lovely herringbone tyres, including the spare.
This truck has been carefully stored for some fifty+ years – certainly never played-with!
Upon close scrutiny, you may find a very minor rub or negligible dot or two – many would call this model mint however!
The buff card box has a complete and very bright paper label. Crisp and very fresh – most unusual for these early boxes! Card feel sturdy and unrubbed. Partial gren colour spot at a lid end. Period pencilled price.
An exceptional Dinky commercial truck from 1947-48.
