D106
Dinky 106 'The Prisoner' Mini-Moke. Near mint plus/boxed. From The Worcestershire Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1967-70, and inspired by The Prisoner’ t.v. series from this period, this Mini Moke model is in fine original condition with a white finish, brown side panels, fresh, clean and bright red and white striped canopy, intact white plastic aerial and complete bonnet label, front and rear ‘Taxi’ labels. The bonnet closes well too (often they don’t!).
Common fault – there is a very fine hairline crack to the plastic cover for the spare wheel. If you are looking for the occasional little mark to the paint finish, you will find a couple. The removable canopy is very bright and fresh, complete with all four plastic struts intact. Bright axles, silver windscreen frame and wheels.
The colourfully illustrated pictorial card box is complete and clean with bright colours. Couple of small areas of surface loss on one box face. Little corner edge crumple. Traces of where an old shop price has been removed from an end flap.
