D651
Dinky 651 Centurion Tank. Scarce plastic roller version. Transition model with rivetted base and plastic rollers. Very, very near mint/boxed.
Notes
A classic Dinky military model first made in 1954 – up until 1970 – and an essential component in your Dinky military collection. This particular version has plastic rollers and was made towards the end of the production run.
A later issue still would have a screwed baseplate whereas the transition model still has a rivetted baseplate:Complete with supple tracks, military markings, a bright baseplate and a swivelling turret with a straight gun.
Close to pristine, it is only upon careful scrutiny that a couple of negligible rubs may be seen.
The tank is presented in the later issue pictorial scene box with lift-off lid (later still an end flap box would be used).
A lovely, crisp, clean and bright example with barely any wear at all.
Shiny staples.
A welcome addition to any Dinky military collection.
