Issued between 1968-74, this particular example was issued toward the latter end of this period.
It contains a ?Zebra-striped? Land-Rover with a perfect circular ?LIONS OF LONGLEAT? label on the bonnet. Opened hatch on the cab roof shows the keeper complete with the (usually missing!) rifle stowed in the back. Couple of small mark at a front wing edge/bumper and a couple of little marks at the rear bumper over-riders.
Also included is the plastic lion?s den which is complete with two male lions, one female, three portions of meat, and a red barrel.
The box is bright and fresh with smooth cellophane (accurate replacement) and the yellow card packing insert. Numbering on the box base. Original price label of 95p (bought in Woolworth) on one of the smaller end flaps.
An attractive Gift Set, especially nice to see this one complete!
