Notes
Re-numbered from 39B in 1960, this fine French Dinky model has a sand beige tractor and trailer, matching metal wheels and a white roof rack. Four metal pins on the trailer are still in place. Complete load of six plastic pipes. Two spare wheels, window glazing. Early issue with pierced trailer detail (later issue was solid).
A couple of mere dots away from mint (probably as-made). Remains of the old elastic bands still present.
The attractive pictorial striped ‘Supertoys’ box is clean and bright. Minor rub on the lid. Some grubby marks and a little of the usual shelf rubbing on the box base underside. No splits. No graffiti. Dinky Quality Control Stamp ‘Meccano Controle’ on the inside of the box lid.
