An interesting and scarce item. Cragstan (more well known for its robot items) wanted a piece of the diecast market that Corgi and Dinky had captured and enlisted Gamda Koor/Sabra for its international (and specifically U.S.) sales. Cragstan called them Sabra Super Cars, and later “Detroit Seniors”.
Bright yellow original finish on this Chevrolet Taxi with a vivid red interior, chrome trim black roof light and intact ’TAXI lettering throughout. Approx 1:43 scale. Shiny spun wheels. Well-shaped original tyres.
Close to mint. Couple of little marks to the paint, light wear(probably as-made) marking to the roof sign and minor bumper rubs.
Hard plastic box with intact and complete garage door and yellow plastic base. Colourful and complete header card looks shop-fresh. Period price label and the black and gold product label is complete.
